The Dastarkhan index remained the same: for a resident of the capital – 212 servings, and for an Almaty resident it is 153 servings. At the same time, there was a multidirectional movement of prices for products – a decrease in the cost of ones compensated for the growth of others.
Thus, a seasonal cheapening of vegetables in Almaty continues, but dairy products are becoming more expensive. In Astana, food prices remained the same, except for the prices of chicken eggs. The average cost of a dozen eggs in the capital amounted to 504 tenge (+0.6% per week), slightly ahead of their average cost in Almaty.
